Jim Yandell is a southern California contemporary abstract painter who lives and works in the city of Long Beach. Before adopting his present style he painted mandalas,  impressionist landscapes, and explored process painting. Since leaving his career as a psychotherapist in the field of HIV mental health in 2016, he has been painting full time.
